Welcome to our sixth edition of the Rotunda GP Connect E-zine- our regular communication tool to update our referral General Practitioners on the latest developments at the Rotunda, including providing educational updates on our clinical services.
This is an exciting time for the Rotunda as we are in the middle of a major construction project which will provide a newly renovated Labour and Delivery Ward, as well as two new operating theatres and a doubling in size of our Emergency Assessment Unit. This expansion should be ready in 2020 and will further enhance the professionalism and care pathways that we can provide to our patients.
Our continued enhancement of communication processes at the Rotunda is yielding great results in terms of efficiency of new patient referrals. The eReferral system, which is embedded with the Healthlink system, allows rapid access for your patients to our Gynaecology and Antenatal clinics.
I would encourage all of our referral GPs to use this new system and if we can be of any assistance in accessing this service, please contact Eleanor Power, our GP Liaison Manager at [email protected]
As with previous editions of the GP Ezine, we are happy to include educational updates on any topics that would be of assistance to your practice. Again, please provide feedback to Eleanor Power to ensure that we continue to provide you with every possible assistance.
