[19th June 2019]The Rotunda Hospital has received notification of planned Industrial Action by members of SIPTU Trade Union.
The disciplines / departments that will be directly affected by the Industrial Action include staff employed as Maternity Care Assistants (MCA), Chefs and within Catering, Household , Portering, CSSD, and Lab Aides.
The first day of the strike action is planned to run from 08.00am, Thursday 20th June 2019 to 08.00 Friday 21st June 2019 (24hrs)
All services at the Rotunda Hospital will be running as normal, although we appreciate your patience with any delays.
Some surgical gynae procedures and the Rotunda Hysteroscopy Clinic at Connolly Hospital have been cancelled for Thursday 20th June. If you have a scheduled appointment in the Connolly Clinic on this date, we will have already been in contact with you by text message or by phone to inform you of the cancellation. We will work on re-scheduling these appointments in a timely manner.
