Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation Industrial Action [Update]

The planned INMO strike actions for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday this week have been suspended.

Our services will run as normal.

If you had an appointment tomorrow (Tuesday 12th Feb) that you were informed was cancelled, you can attend it as normal.

The Rotunda Hospital has received notification of planned Industrial Action by members of the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation (INMO). The Rotunda Hospital will be cancelling and rescheduling clinics and appointments for the period of Industrial Action.

The first day of the strike action is planned to run from 08.00am, Wednesday 30th January, to 08.00am Thursday 31st of January.

Many services at the Rotunda Hospital will be affected. If you have a scheduled appointment on this date, we will be in contact with you by text message or by phone to inform you of the cancellation. We will work on re-scheduling appointments in a timely manner.

The Emergency & Assessment Room will be running as normal, although the strike action may result in longer waiting times for review.

There are further dates planned for Industrial Action on the 5th, 7th, 12th, 13th and 14th of February. We will update you on the situation via our website and our social media platforms. Please keep an eye on national media outlets for updates on this planned natinoal industrial action.

If Industrial Action is averted then all clinics and services will run as normal.
