What is the Patient and Service User Council? |
HSE Dublin and North East is establishing a Patient and Service User Council with people with lived experience of different types of health and social care services in our region. The Council will represent the patient and service user perspective and provide advice and guidance at a strategic regional level.
Why are we setting up a Patient and Service User Council? |
We know that listening to our patients and service users helps us to understand their experiences and improve our services.
Each health region is establishing a Patient and Service User Council to represent the patient and service user voice and improve patient and service user experience. We want to champion the patient and service user voice within our region, building on existing work across different teams and services to partner with patients and service user.
Who do we want to recruit to the Patient and Service User Council? |
We want patients, service users, carers and people supporting others who use health and social care services in HSE Dublin and North East to apply. They must be over 18 and live in the HSE Dublin and North East region. We want the Council to be diverse and inclusive. In particular we want people from underrepresented groups to apply, such as people from minority ethnic groups.
