Midwifery
  • Self-Refer to our Midwives for a 1:1 appointment:
  • Check in about your recovery after your birth.
  • Chat about your birth experience.
  • Feeding support.
  • What’s Normal for Newborns?
  • Ask any questions you have about life as a new Mum.
Attend New Mums Group for:
  • Chat with Midwives and other new Mums.
  • Relax in an inclusive space with your baby.
  • Listen to information sessions on topics like maternal wellbeing, safe sleep, safe bathing, feeding support.

New Mums Group can be booked in advance, or just drop in, anytime from discharge home to 6 weeks, suggested time is week 3.

Specialist Women’s Health Physiotherapy:

Self-refer to the postnatal hub physiotherapy 1:1 service for:
Bladder and bowel problems: if you are experiencing leaking or difficulty controlling or emptying the bladder or bowel 

Postnatal Pelvic Girdle Pain or back pain: if your PGP symptoms or postnatal back pain symptoms are persisting and limiting you in your everyday life or preventing return to exercise 

Pelvic floor pain: if you are experiencing pain in your pelvic floor area including painful sitting, physical activity or sexual activity 

Self-refer to physiotherapy group exercise and advice classes for guidance on common postnatal problems like incontinence, prolapse, back pain and abdominal muscle separation. You will also learn and practice exercises to strengthen your core and pelvic floor postnatally and help you return to appropriate exercise. The level 2 reconditioning class will support you in returning to more strenuous exercise like the gym and running.
