If you have any queries please ring our Helpline on 01 211 9351
(Mon-Fri 9am-4pm, except bank holidays)

We’re happy to announce that due to the hard work and creativity of all our teams in The Rotunda, we will be able to return to a full maternity service sooner than expected, from tomorrow Wednesday 19th May. The cyber attack has had a severe impact on The Rotunda due to our use of an electronic patient record. However, through the hard work of all staff we are able to restore services in a controlled and safe manner.

If you are due a Maternity or Paediatric appointment – please come in as originally scheduled. Please bring any documents or letters that you have from The Rotunda, or your GP, or specialist at another Hospital, that may help us. If you have a copy of your scan report from a previous scan, that is very helpful.

If you had an appointment on Friday 14th, Monday 17th or Tuesday 18th May that was cancelled – please ring our helpline, if you haven’t already, on 01 211 9351 and we will reschedule you. The Helpline is open Monday-Friday 9am-4pm, except bank holidays.

If you receive a call from 01 817 1700, please try and answer it, as it is one of our teams contacting you about your appointment or procedure.

If you have queries about scheduling a COVID vaccine – you can ring our helpline on 01 211 9351 (Mon-Fri 9am-4pm, except bank holidays)

If you need to inform us about your COVID status, our COVID helpline is still open on 01 817 2575

If you are attending a gynaecology appointment, please attend as scheduled, and bring any documents relating to your care with you. If your appointment was cancelled last week, we will be in touch directly to reschedule.

Colposcopy services and Outpatient Hysteroscopy services are running a limited service at the moment. You will be contacted directly if your appointment will be going ahead – otherwise we will follow up with you at a further date about your rescheduled appointment.

Baby Ultrasound appointments – please attend as scheduled. For those who missed appointments, we will contact you directly to reschedule.

If you are unsure if any of the above apply to you – please contact our helpline on 01 211 9351

Our Emergency and Assessment Unit as always remains open for anyone who has any pregnancy or gynaecology concerns, or concerns about their baby (discharged in the last 2 weeks).

We still do not have access to emails, so, if there is a specific department you need to reach, phone numbers are available on rotunda.ie/contacts

We want to thank our staff for their dedication in helping us navigate this crisis, and also the Rotunda families who have been so understanding during an already anxious time.
